TK comes with predefined Spreadsheet .CSV file that be imported into TK. Layout supports both stocks and options trades.

The "truth in advertising" notes follow:

(1) Every effort is made to implement the wash sale scenarios required by IRS. However, TK is not 100% wash sale complaint because of the nature of the complexity involved in wash sales due to variations in interpretations by CPA professionals (as is true for other commercial products on the market or even your tax preparer).
(2) DataClipper ships with Futures filter for IB universal account statements only. A custom filter can be developed to meet your specific broker/format for a small fee.  Or you may enter Futures trades using data entry dialogs.
(3) TK stores your data in the industry standard MS Access MDB file format. Custom reports can be created using any tool that supports Microsoft’s Access files. MS Access is not required to use TradeKeeper itself.
(4) Import implemented to support stock/fund trades. This format does not a have standard definition for options/futures transactions.  If your QIF file contains options or futures, they will be treated as stock trades.
(5) Export Schedule D to TXF file. It can be imported into TurboTax, TaxCut, TaxWise or any other application that supports the TXF format.
(6) DataClipper does not ship with filters for the brokerages. The filter specific to your brokerage can be ordered online. This way you only pay for what you need.
